NSW: More parents experiencing trouble with their teenagers

New statistics show there's been a major increase in the number of parents ringing
a help line about problems with their teenagers.

Parent Line's a NSW government-funded parenting advice line operated by Catholic Care.

It recorded a 36 per cent increase in calls about adolescents between 2007 and 2009.

Minister for Community Services LINDA BURNEY says parents are seeking advice about
managing rude and aggressive behaviour .. use of the internet .. social networking and
gaming .. and their relationships with other teenagers.

The Parent Line is 1300 1300 52.
